Brilliant. Any tips on resources/materials to build a toy engine?

We start by using a kit for the first time, to see if they can follow tedious instructions and then we work our way up with the Lego’s that have the little motors

I might be able to link the kit I use for my littles (this is usually best for ages about 6-7 to 9-10)

We use the “Discovery Mindblown Model Motor Engine Kit”

It has you piece together the internals to show you what the inside of a combustion engine looks like, it’s a bit tedious because you have to put together the springs and pistons, belts, etc but it really gives age appropriate insight into what an engine requires to operate mechanically

Ahhh sorry that link is broken because I tried to remove my identifying trackers from it but if you just look it up in your search engine it’ll come right up :)

Awesome. Thank you
