Excavated in 1939 the Sutton Hoo finds are spectacular.
The gold belt buckle is dated to the early 7th Century AD and classified as early Anglo-Saxon.It measures 13.20 cm in length and weighs 412.70 grammes.

This shoulder clasp dated to the late 6th-early 7th Century AD is made of gold with garnet cloisonne and glass. A beautiful example of craftsmanship from the period. Pictured is just one half of the clasp that was found.
