What's fresh? Anything strange, that an Australian might not have seen?

Well, durian season has just started. It's "the king of fruits" (allegedly) and definitely fits the "strange" category 😃. A large spiky fruit with a very peculiar smell and taste... But on second thought, maybe you have it in Australia, too?
Durian smells gross but tastes nice I've heard, never had it myself though.
