They’re positioning themselves to go after the centralised sections of ‘crypto’ and will likely succeed in squashing a lot of it (in the USA at least). They’ll be hoping that Bitcoin takes so much collateral damage that it dies.

It’s gonna get pretty gnarly out there, they won’t give up without a hell of a fight.

They will ultimately fail though
