Gender based challenges are not a fixed total quantity. An increase in the suffering of men does not imply a decrease in the suffering of women & vice versa. These are mutually independent quantities.

I don't disagree on aggregate, but like most things this gets all fucky cause of the state. The state can and does implement policy that makes this a zero sum game (in both directions historically).
