Proud of this! The kid (Li Li aka #lil) and I full on in construction mode. We made a marble run!

From studying Waldorf education now intensively and living it, I realized that kids need only: knowledge, tools, and construction materials.

Since mid-April, we have removed all screens in our house, managed our usage in front of the kid, removed the phone in the daily process of the morning and night routines. Also, we have been removing plastics in favor of natural materials EVERYWHERE.

Then, it occurred to me that all literal toys MUST GO.

So I set out to reorganize my kids room. In some cases, have nuked literal toys completely, and then I realized most of these - plastic containers, found materials, etc - simply can be put into the construction box and we re-purpose into constructions.

Everytime I hear about Elsa, Mickey, Paw Patrol, I know I must spend more time with my kid. These are other peoples ideas being placed inside my kids mind to format her mind, take away her child-like nature, get her to get us to buy this junk for her, and convert her to a consumer long term. NOT HAPPENING ON MY WATCH!

OVERALL: Happiness is UP!

AND, now this has all been effecting Redelle and I too! Now, everything is a project, and it is integrated into the life process, including my long standing OPEN RECIPE BOOK being integrated into food planning.
