People say time is a flat circle.

Personally I suspect that is because they think 2 dimensionally.

I think time is a spiral 🌀.

I think it cycles around, mirroring what came before, with new contexts, people, and situations.

I also suspect it looks something like a Mayan calendar, with interlocking spirals of different periods of time. There are definitely 60, 100, and 500 year spirals…. probably more.

And every once in a while, like on the Mayan calendar, several cycles converge at once. Which is where I personally believe we are now….
