When my kids were little, they weren't being careful and spilled some kind of dry food on the carpet in our dealership. I immediately quipped, "You'd better eat every last piece that you spilt on the floor."
There are 2 thoughts on germs and kids: avoid germs at all cost or bury your kids in germs so they have a strong immune system. I guess you can tell which camp I belong to.

Same as our boy (a couple of months older than Luka), he drank his water table water all summer long. Rocks, dirt from his hands, sticks, bugs. He didnt care, neither did his dad.

I grew up in the 70s. I don't know how any of us made it! My parents would take their hands off the wheel and turn around to smack us for having those damn seatbelts on! But that didn't bother me as much as the hot ashes falling on my legs from the cigarette bobbing in their mouths! That shit was hot!
