My knowledge extends to it being:
Peer to peer cash.
Censorship free.
Banking the unbanked
Limited amount available.
Mostly those concepts.
Wanna discuss the wealth gap idea? I could use some info.
I'm talking about the fact that BTC requires ASICs for mining, which means that only the wealthy would be able to afford the equipment to mine it efficiently.

I bought a hefty server, refurbished for around $550.

That is true, but friction doesn't mean anything if you have to go through so many hurdles before you can actually start stacking enough sats.
It's just like the burdens like licensing, zoning ordinances, etc. that businesses have to go through to be successful.
