Sats are my personal preference, but at least that makes it clear that it’s not whole bitcoins, and is consistent with other wallets.

Yeah, I like/use sats.
Sometimes you need to deal with bitcoin (looking at you ghostfolio). This clearly shows how many 0s to pad until the decimal point.
