The Pentagon's Financial Masterpiece: A Comedy of Errors

🎭 Welcome to the Pentagon's Auditing Circus! 🎭

Ladies and gentlemen, step right up to witness the greatest show on Earth: the Department of Defense's *never-ending* quest for financial accountability! Despite pouring trillions of dollars into defense, the Pentagon has mastered the art of… not accounting for its money.

🎪 The Numbers Game

Since 2017, our beloved DoD has embarked on a thrilling adventure known as “The Audit.” Spoiler alert: they’ve yet to pass a single one! In a stunning twist, the 2022 audit revealed that a jaw-dropping 61% of Pentagon assets simply vanished into thin air. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, 2023 upped the ante with 63%unaccounted for. Who knew financial magic was part of the defense strategy?

🏦 A Trillion-Dollar Mystery

With total assets valued at approximately $3.8 trillion, it seems like the Pentagon is playing an elaborate game of hide-and-seek. But don’t worry; they’re on track to *maybe* pass an audit by 2028! Just imagine the suspense as we wait for the grand reveal—will they find their missing cash?

🤹‍♂️ Legislative Shenanigans

In response to this circus act, our wise lawmakers have proposed the "Audit the Pentagon Act." Because nothing says accountability like penalizing military components by withholding a fraction of their budget! It’s like telling a magician, “You can’t pull rabbits out of hats anymore—just use a slightly smaller hat!”

👏 A Standing Ovation

So here’s to the Pentagon: a shining example of how to spend enormous amounts of taxpayer money while simultaneously failing to keep track of it. Bravo!

🍿As we sit back and enjoy this ironic spectacle, let’s hope that one day, we’ll witness a true financial miracle—a Pentagon that can actually account for its funds, using #Bitcoin and posting its spending on #Nostr. Until then, we’ll keep our popcorn ready and our expectations low.

Sooly I am against US involvement in war anywhere on the globe right now, financially or otherwise. The world will be a better place when the US starts minding it's own business and leaving the rest of the world alone. That said do you talk about anything else or are you a broken record.
