Signing strings that look a lot like Json

Not JSON because some content included is technically not JSON-compatible?

Not quite, it's just not really possible to sign an unordered map of key-value pairs

Ha. 🤯 I had totally missed that aspect - “signed, stringified, json blobs” doesn’t roll off the tongue the same way. :(
