I understand you can deterministically generate the ecash notes, but what about the mint signatures? Stored encrypted on the mint and downloading and decrypting them?

Nope. Even the simple install on a mac returns errors and wont install cashu.
It‘s a long way from here to easy install and usability.
I guess 2-4 years minimum before it‘s really usable.
I love the project so far but have lost many sats due to testing.
Mainly cause of disappearing mints.

I need to install python and then pip and THEN cashu…
3 full rooms full of possible problems and errors before I can even start to test cashu.
I have two macs here… both aren‘t able to run python, pip and cashu without errors. (1. pkg-config is required 2. pip is installed but terminal says: ‚command not found pip‘)
I have to admit I am kind if an idiot when it comes to the cmd-line.
In fact I hate everything connected to it.
Can we get rid of this complicated things so normal people could use your product noncustodial?
