I’m so proud of the son I raised, he’s turning out to be a great young man! I got him a job doing excavating and landscaping and tree work this summer. We had to pull a huge splinter out of his cut up hands yesterday. I was like “you ok buddy?” because he was beat up…. He was like “Dad stop talking like a pussy!” 🤣 So he’s working 40-50 hrs a week heavy construction type job the summer before his senior year in high school, while attending his captain’s practices for soccer and still hitting the gym 4 days a week. He’s an honor student who’s a badass! 🤣 His Marine recruiter told me he’s the first kid he EVER put through his workout and did not throw up! He said my son was looking at him like “is that all you got?” 🤪. He told me he’s a beast physically and scored extremely high on his aptitude test and is considered an Alpha! When the recruiter asked him how he built his workout ethic so strong, he said “watching my Dad since I can remember come home from doing construction and working out like a maniac!” I had him doing pushups and pull ups at 5 years old. I raised a badass young man with a heart of gold and couldn’t be more proud of him.
