Works fine for me on calyx but I'm using Gboard with it's connection turned off in firewall. I like the swipe. Testing out the stock keyboard with this sentence and still okay...

You can install Gboard from Aurora store, turn off it's connection in firewall, then set it as your default keyboard

A lot of people seems to have problems with this. I used Open Board on Lineage and got the same.

FlorisBoard works great but it's not updated since 14 months; maybe the project is abandoned...
