Since 2001, the U.S. has spent over $8 trillion on the War on Terror, which accounts for approximately 22 per cent of the national debt.

In today's fiat-based monetary system, governments can easily fund wars by printing money, leading to inflation and an ever-growing debt burden.

Under a Bitcoin standard, spending would be constrained by hard money principles. This could make large-scale, prolonged wars less feasible without direct taxpayer funding or visible trade-offs.

Would this encourage more careful consideration before entering conflicts? Or could it introduce new challenges for national security?

Let's discuss: Could Bitcoin change the economics of war?
