nostrcade.xyz is a personal project combining my love of video games and bitcoin. The goal is to allow anyone on nostr to be able to win sats while playing fun games. Right now it is still a work in progress with more features and games coming soon.

How it works:

I create a game lobby which is running a simple html5 game. The lobby creates a new nostr profile to manage the game. The host profile posts an announcement of the game and listens to the post for any zaps. If you zap the post with the entry fee you should be automatically added to the game. The game starts when the required number of players is reached. Once the game is complete the host will pay out the winners according to the prize pool rules. The lobby will remove all players and then create a new round with a new post and the cycle repeats. Make sure you zap the most current post indicated by the current round code. I try to handle edge cases such as overpayments and joining mid game with pending players. You must have a valid lud16 address in your nostr profile to be paid out.
