I think the same may be happening with dark markets being build on #nostr and #bitcoin. If there are enough market participants who are refusing to comply with local regulatory and tax rules then enforcement of those rules will become impossible at scale.

Individuals choosing to ignore illegitimate authority and engage in voluntary economic interactions as a way to improve their our own lives. This is what I see happening. This what I practice.
