Markus Persson, also known as Notch and the creator of Minecraft, sold his game to Microsoft and became a billionaire virtually overnight. In pursuit of a lavish lifestyle, he purchased a $70 million mansion, but soon found himself sinking into depression.

Without a new purpose or project to drive him, the creative spark that once fueled him began to fade. The magic was gone. Isolated and alone, he never built a family of his own. The wealth, rather than bringing fulfillment, only deepened his despair.

As he once said, “The problem with getting everything is you run out of reasons to keep trying.”

Man was made to work, keep the garden, and to be fruitful and multiple. It is when these things stop, we die a little faster every year.
