If airless tires are so neat, why haven't they caught on? Genuine question.
Airless tires eliminates the need for air with a structure capable of supporting the vehicle, while also delivering a safe ride.
Without air, flat tires and pressure loss are no longer an issue. https://video.nostr.build/b47d49e2015673d422c05645df1dee8096cbc2910f94e2598570501cf0ab85c7.mp4

I was wondering too...
partially it's a rigidity problem you have a less smooth ride and you end up getting a cracked wheel more often than not. So you're replacing an entire wheel versus just the tire part. At least thats been my Experience with airless tires on a bike.
I think its because the tread wear and life suffers so although no air in them, the tread suffers as the tradeoff.
Idk e scooters have them
