Even back in 2013 or so, it was all noise with a lot of scammy behavior everywhere. The tech was cool, but it was really hard to take it seriously in terms of money/investment. Andreas changed that for me.
I wish I took him seriously. I would watch the videos but I couldn't get past my doubts on bitcoin's potential success. I always expected the middlemen to destroy it. So it only remained an IT curiosity for me until I saw China fail at stopping it. Before then I would buy and sell it all. After that I started saving in it. And 2 years ago I started closing out certificate of deposit, gold, and stock positions and moving it to bitcoin.
It took years of losing to bitcoin for me to change 🤣🤣🤣 Some lessons are hard learned.
