Is there an actual way to use LN rails outside of using WoS on a cheap Android device?? You can’t just point Tyro or a big 4 bank machine at LN.

The biggest hurdle we encounter is POS integration to the card terminal. I can’t see how this can done currently without using BTC Pay server…….

I’d love to have nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq integrate into Kounta or any of the big POS vendors. Had to be integrate with expiating workflows.

My guess is that nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m and Square POS will be the first to integrate LN with POS and beautiful hardware. The hardware is key, merchants don’t care about a 1-2% saving in fees, they rather the elegant integration of POS and hardware.

Having a 2nd device on the counter and manually inputting values from the POS is not going to work for most. For nerds like us sure….. vast majority no.

Square has the lead with beautiful hardware and great software. However can’t see them building nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 natively into there POS. Let’s hope I’m wrong.
