Being a representative of "the peepuh", I wonder how many of her mainstreet constituents are actually asking her to make a fool of herself in public like this. I would imagine very few.

Seriously, what percentage of Massachusetts voters are focused on this single issue? She’s on a crusade because she hates the idea that people can choose to opt out of the same exploitative system she used to be so critical of.

The more absurd the overreach, the more likely the laws embodying it will be ignored. Senator Warden doing God's work and doesn't even know it.
