I got a UPS to back up the power to my fiberoptic modem, router, pc, gaming console and my bitcoin node. It was pretty cool walking up to the wall outlet and yanking the power cord to the UPS and seeing everything still running off battery in less than a tenth of a 60hz cycle. I’ve got three hours of pc usage and wifi in a grid down situation.

Nice. Does this unit have the ability send signal to connected devices that it now running on ups allowing the connected device to shut down gracefully. I am in the market for one and want this ability for my nas

Most cyberpower and apc support tbat and NUTS can be used to safely shutdown as well as remote signal others sharing the power to do so

I haven’t installed the software for this UPS yet and explored it, but based on the ports and snmp slot in the back, it looks like it has some advanced signalling functions.
