I don’t think so, it’ll just make your house more humid.
Evaporative air conditioning works will in dry arid climates. In high humidity climates air conditioning must remove water vapor (dew point, latent heat, enthalpy) before temperature can be reduced.
Too many variables for a concise answer, but in certain conditions with the right set up it might work a little.
In Hong Kong I always put my laundry in a closed room with a dehumidifier on the laundry setting. Worked great and was the typical way there.
Malaysia is the only place hotter and more humid! Great for tea storage, but tough for laundry. 🤣
