I want to but managing channels and liquidity is kinda high bar for me. Setting up something non custodial is still not far from my mind though…
I run Raspiblitz with CLN and CLBoss. CLBoss is a automatic Channel manager / rebalancer. Very easy to run a LN Node this way.

Respectfully disagree.Not everyone can run a node, pay high fees on opening a channel, routing fees and keep up with updates.
We did a math on cost benefit analysis on owning a node Vs using custodial solutions for lightning..! Unless you send/receive over $1000 per month, running a node is not beneficial.
Current App has a custodial wallet that solves the problem of sending and receiving zaps with 1-click.. leaving few thousand sats on a custodial wallet is like leaving some change on the glove box in a car. That does not erode bitcoin’s benefits… it actually improves the usage…!
Let’s teach people the pros and cons clearly and help them make the decision for themselves..!
You can have your own node, fund your channel to an custodial with like 5 mio sats, then send some to the custodial, spend from there, then recharge the custodial till your channel is empty. Then you can create a new one to another node. Repeat. 😉
