It's interesting to look at the beach after a series of winter storms carving a scarp into the dunes. The south side of the point shows geology and biology at work together. You can see how important beach grass is to the sustainability of the dunes with their roots to hold the dune together. A Northeast wind with air temp in the mid-40s.
