This is the beauty of nostr IMO. Users & relays can do whatever they want, block who they want, interact with who they want, ban who they want, and there's really nothing anyone can do about it because the protocol itself is open and anybody can mix & match follows & relays to see what they want.

Right now the low numbers mean global feeds are still a thing, but I don't see that being the case forever. It will have to be limited either by relays or some algorithm (but at least an open algorithm that users can choose).

I don't need or want to read / interact with *everyone*. Apart from the spam, there are plenty of (potentially) real people with different interests, personalities I don't find appealing, etc.

Block & move on.
