I am art? Well I mean I guess so. All human beings would probably be the art of a great designer.

Trying to say what is and isn’t art seems too subjective to me. By just a formal definition music is art, and to say that you don’t find particular music to be art seems like playing with semantics. For instance I could care less about paintings in an art gallery, they do nothing for me personally. I won’t make the case that they are somehow not art or that some are art and others are not art based on my perceived depth of the work. That said, yes you are art

"What is art?" is one of the hardest and deepest philosophical questions. It must have a definition otherwise, why have the word. However, it's something very hard to put into words. But you must understand that just because something in particular might move you, does not make it art. I'm not aware of any music that's come out in the last 50 years that I would consider art.

Another big questinon for me though; Is AI capable of making art. You have to have a pretty good handle on the first question to even begin to attempt to answer that one.

So, I hope I've given you something deeper to think on. I've been pondering art for 5 or 6 years now and I'm just now starting to see the difference between paintings, music, and statues, and what I would consider art. The best works of art were not made by man, but man was made by a great artist, no doubt.
