One of the many things I've observed about our restoration n00b clients is their lack of patience when they enter into the world of classic car restoration.

"This will take two to two and a half years to complete." They think it's too long and they try to bribe with more money to speed it up. Then I say, "Sure, but all you'll get is half of the car." If they really want it, they will continue. If not, they go shopping for one that's done.

In the end, they realise and hopefully learn that near perfection takes time. When I ask if it was worth the wait, they look at the car in front of them, like a dream that came true, they turn to me with a smile and nod.

A highlight of my job.

Low time preference is very Bitcoin. Fiat incentivizes impatience because it disincentives saving in favor of gambling on investments to maintain your value.
