Their notation is really wonky. They didn’t want to use sats so badly they just put everything to the right of the decimal point. This whole interface gives me anxiety.

Do you have any concrete suggestions? SAT is supported and in fact I was advocating for SAT denomination way before it was cool (in 2017).
I haven’t use the app before, good to hear sats are supported (I would go so far as to make it the default).
This app would benefit from a lot more UI simplicity. Have you considered asking the Bitcoin Design community for help? There are people who specialize in this sort of thing who you can work with.
