I think just being nice and helpful if/when they ask is the best course of action. They didn't listen. They know they didn't listen. They'll blame us (bcuz no one blames themselves). But if we really want to help, we can always just simply be nice WHEN they ask.

You’re right but it’s hard to be nice when they (not all) are assholes about it. And then they’ll still complain about inflation.

I agree. I think american hodl set it pretty well on a recent podcast. "Why do I care about you more than YOU care about you". People are stubborn, and definitely not savvy with money.
