Inbox and outbox are lists **for your followers to find you** not for you to find the content you want.

If you want to use fancy new algo relays, or look at a global feed from specific relays, or backup your content to other relays, or use NIP-29 group chats, or always send stuff to other relays in case you get rug pulled by the current ones... none of those should be in your inbox and outbox lists. None.

Yes please my server is slammed with people casually adding algo relay

Should algo relays only be used for global or are there other usages for them?

For now only global, at least the one I made. It should really only be used in a single relay browser/fees type context, it doesn't work if a client tries to assemble notes from two relays in a global feed for example

makes sense

I would appriciate more detailed docs for haven relay in how to set it up with amethyst. I still have issues with blossom, I just recieve some non informative error when trying to upload a file. How do we add other peoples wot relays in amethyst, e.g. are they only general relays, or do we fill out outbox/inbox categories also?

Probably CORS error for blossom - check your nginx setup

Don't need to set it in general relays, just the others

If you want your followers to download your stuff from those relays, add it to the Outbox List.

If you want your followers to send replies, likes, etc to your posts in that relay, add it to the Inbox List.

If you want to use it to store your DMs and receive DMs from your friends, add it to the DM Inbox relays.

If you just want to keep a copy of everything you write but don't want your followers to use your server (to save costs), add it to the Private Home relay section.

So more like a nostr zip code of sorts?
