i tried waiting a few minutes and restarting amethyst, but i'm getting an error still
"Could not fetch invoice from https://getalby.com/lnurlp/bluesupport292501/callback: Bad Request - The server can't or won't process the request."

Looks like something got seriously screwed up somewhere along the line. Long story short, I didn't copy my seed phrase down correctly, there was a mismatch between my profile's npub and the one set in Alby somehow, so I had to make a whole new profile. Try zapping this one? I appreciate the help.
