If their official client claims it can't talk to the Signal service but their status page tells me it's all a-ok, what am I supposed to do?

Tried various VPNs, 4G/Starlink/Starlink from neighbor, all the same.

I don’t get why this might be happening only to me. There are sporadic hints here and there the error message actually means “wrong PIN entered too often” (I remembered mine being in my password manager on the 2nd try) and that you have to wait for some cooldown.

Whatever. No Signal for the time being.
