I got lucky moving to Japan. Washington state (as far as I know) is the only state from which you can transfer your license over without going to driving school again. Drove almost immediately after getting my license here albeit on the opposite side of the road. Weird at first, but get used to it quickly.

Love Japan. I miss it a lot. What city do you live in currently?

It’s not something I share here, though it’s possible to figure it out from my notes

I have a feeling if I ever drive on the left side of the road I will cause sooo much trouble πŸ€£πŸ˜…

You’d get used to it almost immediately. Maybe drive on the wrong side once or twice. We had some scary moments with my wife behind the wheel (she also mostly drove in the states)

There are some countries that honor the US drivers license and will allow you to get your new license, with appropriate fees of course.

Probably if they have similar laws.

Japan and US driving laws are very similar.

Maybe. But honestly I'm not sure about the particulars.

you moved to Japan ? even i don't hate Niggers enough to do that !

impressive !
