Doing projects twice is an underrated hack 😂 I always do much better the second time.
That’s how humans learn! You should always create a prototype which will be replaced with a real product if you do something new

We are doing this with heavy refactorings over time we achieve the same like writing a completely new app.
We have done this multiple times with apps and services 🤗
