So remember the other day when I decided to bake some apple pies? There’s a bit more to that story. I actually baked a dozen pies and gifted them to the neighbors (I do this every year). But this year, something heartwarming happened. One of the neighbor’s children, now old enough to grasp the idea of kindness and community, returned the favor by baking me cookies. It was such a touching gesture (it’s the handmade iceing skills for me). 🥹🫂
