Explaining NOSTR to the guys at the soccer field this morning...

Think of NOSTR like a street soccer game instead of a FIFA tournament.

In FIFA (like Twitter or Facebook), there's a governing body that controls the rules, schedules, and who gets to play. If they don’t like a player, they can ban them from the league.

In street soccer (like NOSTR), anyone can bring a ball, set up goals, and start playing. There’s no referee kicking people out—if one spot gets shut down, the game just moves to another street or park.

NOSTR is decentralized—no single authority controls the field, and the players (users) decide how and where the game happens. ⚽🔥
