I love Irish music. I love this island and our music tradition. Love feeling routed to our heritage through this typically aural tradition.

This is my friend’s cousin singing. When their grandmother died and they were clearing out the house, they found old love letters to an old love from when she was young. This song was written based on those letters.

It’s in Irish because they’re from the Gaeltacht in Donegal and the letters were Irish. Beautiful music.
