My old supervisor was based af. He told me he’d drive me to work one. He wanted sushi for lunch so he went to a grocery store that preps it. This was during peak covid where everyone was fucking terrified and stores wouldn’t let you in without a mask. He walked in to the store without giving a fuck. Like Covid didn’t happen in his world. He said that if anyone ever bothered him, he’d tell them he has a medical condition. One person asked what it was and he said that was a violation of privacy and he’d sue him for it. So they leave him alone lol if only humanity didn’t evolve into sheep.

G shit. Those types were very few and far between where I’m at.

I found the whole “masks don’t work” treatise within the first few months of COVID so I knew masking was bullshit almost immediately. But I live in a hyper blue area and so mandates and fears were fanatical. But I was so for a good amount of time ignoring masking completely. Literally getting chased around grocery stores by insane karens and refused service.

Apparently my subconscious remembers the battles and the insanity.

I never believed in the mask bullshit. I was following it when it was in China and I read about the breakout on the ship. The common theme was that it was all very old people with multiple health problems like diabetes and heart disease. There wasn’t a single old person that died who didn’t already have at least two significant health problems. So I didn’t even think it was dangerous for healthy old people. But that doesn’t matter when everyone around you has gone insane. I remember waiting in line outside a grocery store that was only letting in a couple people at a time to shop and this old lady was standing there coughing in line and this man got so fucking pissed and started yelling and cussing at her. That’s when I realized this shit isn’t going to be fixed with reason.

Yeah, the Diamond Princess. Jon Ioannids did a 2 hour lecture on the results of that isolated outbreak on that ship. And how the IFR was actually similar to the flu and how “experts” on the news were saying it was 100x more lethal than it actually was.

Old people die when they get sick and they’re all fucked up. The common cold kills thousands every year. The flu kills huge amounts too. A stressor to a frail person with co-morbidities is the tipping point. It was well known before Covid but yeah reality wasn’t a factor in that debacle.

That era really was so crazy. The average person is such a coward that if authority just introduces the concept of dying and they perceive it to be real they become 100% malleable.

“The average person is such a coward.” 💯
