I've said it many times, but, buttered coffee in the morning, and one carb free meal in the evening is the ultimate life hack.

Do this everyday and you will achieve 8% body fat.

I only go the the gym a couple times a week at most and I look shredded.

3 months ago when I quit drinking I had a little bit of a beer gut. It's gone now.

People need to realize that sport makes you better in the thing you do as sport. Sport of any kind contributes very little to weight loss. You lose weight by controlling your calory intake and disciplining your eating habits.

No food in between the coffee and the meal in the evening?

Correct. Consuming a stick of butter in the morning will give you all day energy.

Basically: low carb, higher fat and intermittend fasting (aka. Only eat when hungry, not when others do).

Been doing it (very low carb/plants, mostly carnivore) for almost 3y now. Never felt better.

Saturated animal fats are superior energy and keep hunger at bay, but your body only uses them when you consume no carbohydrates.

Animal fats are best as humans have developed on it for 100k of years. Plant/seed oils are only about 120y old and were initially developed as grease for machines.

The body always uses more than one fuel substrate at any time (redundancy). It's just when consuming lots of carbs, it will be used first and hence more glucose in relation to fat is used.

The metabolic pathway into and out of your fat cells is a one way street. Either in or out. When you're in ketosis your fat cells are exporting triglycerides into your blood stream to be broken down and used as energy. When you eat carbohydrates your glucose becomes elevated and that pathway runs the other way taking in glucose and packaging it into triglycerides. There's a little more to it but that's basically how it works.

👍 thanks.
