Things I did this week:

Got in an Uber and asked the driver if he prefers English or Spanish. He said espanol, and so we continued to chat in Spanish.

Had casual conversation with the Spanish speaking parents of the other kids while trick or treating.

Successfully ordered food from a small take out spot, en espanol, over the phone.
