Agreed. I like the style, I just want a smaller and more flexible footbed. Birks are easy to slip on and off and have a wide toe box. They’re halfway there. I’ve seen videos where people retofit birks to be more barefoot style but I don’t want to do all that.
Fair enough, I keep an old rubber pair of adidas for the occasional quick on/offs but that’s prob not what you’re looking for 😅
