There will be more failures. There will be more bailouts. Depositors will be "protected" by socializing losses across everyone.

Nah. The libertarian funhouse of crypto has shown how woefully unprepared for prime time it is.

It's wrong to socialize losses and privatize profits the way we do.

But a slow append-only database is the solution to no interesting problem.
