Venerable Dometie, a humble monk of Râmeț Monastery, possessed a heart overflowing with compassion. One harsh winter, he encountered a group of starving villagers begging for alms. The monastery's stores were dwindling, but Dometie, moved by their plight, distributed the last of the bread, trusting in God's providence. Miraculously, the granary was replenished overnight, enough to feed everyone until spring.
