Porting iris to use LokiJS in-memory database https://github.com/techfort/LokiJS

You can find the development version at https://beta.iris.to. Feed loading seems better already.

pv 🤙 Faster feeds and sorting options 🤙

Iris feeds are now under the same menu item. You have better control and sorting options that can be saved as default.

The backend got a ⚡️ speed increase as well 🤙

awesome. any updates planned for the android app?

It's updated automatically as all versions.

Yet, we did a rollback to the previous version so you don't see the latest update now. Hopefully, it's back soon.

yeah it's been well over a month so just checking. might uninstall it if there's no plan for a native app.

iris is my goto for desktoo. it's just that amethyst has just gotten to a point in development where it's so much better than a web wrapper app.

would live to use iris all around, but i know it would be more maintenance for the dev.

no pressure, just wondering...is a native android app on the radar?

thx 😊

No def plans . It's a resource issue. If the community supports enough that we get the resources to maintain it then why not.

cool. thx

cool cool cool. i'll stick to iris on desktop until then. keep up the great work! thx 🤙🏻💜

some users have blue, white, and gold checkmarks for nip-05. what are the differences?

Blue = a followed user

White = you don't follow but 1-10 of your following follows the user (hover over the icon and Iris shows the count)

Yellow = you don't follow but over 10 of your following follows the user (hover over the icon and Iris shows the count)

When will @Iris have "ws://" relay address compatibility?
