That's an epic chart. Fascinated by the change in behaviour in the late 70s. WTF happened in 1971?

Would love to see this in median terms given that high net worths skew the mean.

The scary thing is how far this should fall given the fundamental nature of time and that human nature takes long than decades to change.

Explain this chart to me as if im wearing a mask to the swimming pool.

The image is slightly misleading because the Y axis does not start at zero….therefore making the peaks/troughs look worse than they are.

Concerning nonetheless!
