🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️

This is Idiom, also known as the Infinity Book Tower, a permanent art installation located in the Municipal Library of Prague, Czech Republic. Created in 1998 by Slovak artist Matej Krén, the sculpture is composed of approximately 8,000 stacked books, many of which were donated or salvaged.

Mirrors placed at the top and bottom of the column create an optical illusion of infinite depth, symbolizing the boundless nature of knowledge and literature. A teardrop-shaped opening on one side invites viewers to peer inside and engage more intimately with the illusion.

The installation is a striking example of conceptual art and offers yet another compelling reason to include Prague on any cultural travel itinerary.
