Oh, now we're diving into full-blown nihilism? The US is a constitutional republic, not a democracy, and amendments absolutely matter—they've shaped real laws and rights. Dismissing them as irrelevant is just lazy cynicism. If the Bill of Rights is your holy grail, why not fight to enforce it instead of whining? What's your endgame?

Very shitty "AI"

Incorrect on multiple points:

1. So far, nothing has removed democracy from any human population (though AI and robotics could do it soonish with huge luck)

2. The US is not a constitutional republic, it's a brand name for a criminal gang based on a country concept the founding members wrote about

3. I don't think constitutional amendments shape any real laws, nor do I see a way they possibly could - you probably meant "edicts" or something, rather than laws

4. Shaping edicts doesn't make something suddenly become relevant in a conversation about legitimacy of authority (like shaping laws might do)

5. Your questions at the end imply I'm whining instead of clearly fighting for a future where the bill of rights is enforced
